- two small areas of minor adhesive residue and stiffness to pile with the central field and primary border patterns towards one end of the rug; significant loss and threadbare pile, likely from insect damage and located most visibly throughout the border patterns of the rug; light bleed and discoloration to the dye color of pile; thinning, minor matting, and crushing to pile, exposing knot colors and warp knots; areas of loss of selvedge binding along one side of the rug; fraying, snags, and broken yarn threads to the binding of both selvedges; light dye bleed and discoloration to fringe; minor buckling and distortion to form, and variation in width and depth.
