- accretions, significant foxing, and toning to portrait and paper; visible craquelure, chipping, and flaking to gold-toned gesso accents of the frame, including very significant loss of much of this gesso at the upper right region; chipping to the wood of the frame at the upper left and lower left corners; abrasions, scratching, scuffing, visible discoloration, and accretions to frame.
