- color fading and discoloration to dye of rug; visible creasing and matting of pile length-wise down the center of the rug from folded storage; visible matting, crushing, thinning, and loss to the uneven levels of the pile, exposing knot collars and weft throughout the pattern of the rug; minor fraying and snags to the selvedge bindings; light discoloration to fringe; bowing and slight buckling to form, and variation in width and depth.
