Henredon Viennese Collection China Cabinet

A china cabinet from Henredon Furniture, from their Viennese collection designed by Dorothy Draper. Draper was aptly named “America’s most fabulous decorator.” Drapers influence is evident throughout this romantic and whimsical oversized piece. Mixed hardwood with oak veneers, two part constructed. The top cabinet is illuminated, it delivers a bold extravagant curved top with double glass doors to front with glass panels to side. To inside, two fixed shelves with undulating curves to front, adding further extravagance to this piece. The lower case features a trio of stacked dovetailed joined drawers, housed in a Bombe shaped case with undulating curves throughout. Cast metal hardware to front. Top case illuminated, untested. Markers mark to inside top drawer.
