Low Mintage 1889 Indian Princess Head $3 Gold Coin. This last year of issue coin features a right-facing Liberty in Woodlands style headdress ringed by thirteen stars to the obverse and ‘1 DOLLAR 1868’ in a wreath of laurels to the reverse. Designer: James B. Longacre. Mintage: 2,300. Metal Content: 90% gold, 10% copper. Diameter: 14.3 mm. Weight: approx. 5.01 grams. Coin appears to be very lightly circulated.
