Low Mintage 1903 Liberty Head $2.50 Gold Quarter Eagle. This coin features a left-facing Liberty ringed by thirteen stars to the obverse and a raised wing eagle with shield clutching arrows and olive branches to the reverse. Designer: Christian Gobrecht. Mintage: 125,830. Metal Content: 90% gold, 10% copper. Diameter: 18 mm. Weight: approx. 4.18 grams. Coin appears circulated with solder mark. May have been in a piece of jewelry at one time. Has been cleaned.
