Kentucky folk artist Edd Lambdin began his art career in the mid-1980s. His colorful painted wooden sculptures are inspired by his rural Southern upbringing, with themes including monkeys, birds, snakes, and religious motifs. His work has been exhibited at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, the Huntington Museum of Art, the Kentucky Folk Art Center, and the Owensboro Museum of Art.

Condition

- major crack running along the underside of the belly and the tail; glue residue to the crack running from the back of the head along the neck; wings slightly loose at joints; minor dust and surface abrasions.
