Original Dry Point Etching

Item Details

An original dry point etching believed to be attributable to well-listed German landscape painter Arno Drescher (1882 – 1971). The etching is signed to the lower right-hand corner with a remarque. The artist has used the dry point line, with its sensuous burr, to convey the great distance of the landscape. From a vantage point on a long footbridge the artist has depicted a small harbor, filled with sail boats, alongside a small row of buildings on the shoreline. This fine etching is presented in a gilt wood frame.
