1968 Silver Mexican 25 Peso Commemorative Olympic Games Coin. This coin was issued to commemorate the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City. It features the national symbol of Mexico to the obverse and a traditional Aztec ballplayer to the reverse; the edge is lettered with ‘INDEPENDENCIA Y LIBERTAD.’ Metal Content: 72% silver, 28% copper. Diameter: 38mm. Weight: 22.5 grams. The coin appears lightly circulated with light toning to the edge.
