Mexico 1 Peso Silver Coins, 1957-1967. These eleven silver peso coins feature the national symbol of Mexico to the obverse and a right facing Jose Morelos to the reverse. The coins’ edges are lettered with ‘INDEPENDENCIA Y LIBERTAD.’ Metal Content: 90% Brass, 10% silver. Diameter: 34.5mm. Weight: 16 grams each. The coins appear lightly circulated with light wear and toning. The 1962 coin has visible vertical scratches to the reverse.
