| Additional Information | A selection of ephemera from French actor Sacha Guitry and his father Lucien Guitry. The items include of letters from the Hotel Negresco (located in Nice, France) from Sacha Guitry; a black-and-white portrait of Sacha Guitry, signed by Sacha, this page came out of a theater program; a poem written in pencil on blue paper (auction book states that Sacha wrote the poem); a card that reserves two spots, dated July of 1957, for Sacha Guitry’s funeral; a note written by Sacha to his fourth wife, Genviéve de Séréville, the envelope is included; and a note from Lucien to Sacha. In addition to the Guitry memorabilia, there is a flyer advertising the play Perfect Alibi “with the original N.Y. Cast Including Vivian Tobin, Harry Beresford” and some sheet music titled, Soir Romantique by C. Saint-Saëns. |
