Large Format Series 1917 $1 and Series 1880 ‘Woodchopper’ $5 Legal Tender Notes. The $1 note features a left facing George Washington, Columbus’s landing and red seals and serial numbers to the obverse and printed geometric denomination to the reverse. The $5 has a frontiersman with axe, right facing Andrew Jackson and red seals and serial numbers to the obverse and geometric design with denomination to the reverse. The notes measure 7 1/4’ W X 3’ D and have been circulated with vertical and horizontal folds, nicks to the edges and toning.
