Paul Evans, Jr. is best known for his brutalist and modern sculptures and furniture design. His work is comprised of mixed media materials and a variety of metals including copper, bronze, silver, and gold. Evans acquired his formal training at Cranbrook Academy of Art, Michigan. Subsequently, he became a designer for the furniture manufacturing company Directional, where he became widely recognized for his Argent series. His work has been exhibited in various public and private avenues including the Museum of Contemporary Crafts, New York.

- minor loss to patina; minor abrasions throughout; adhesive accretion to interior of lid; loosening of cork lining; wear to base.
