A vintage unmarked chalkware wall plaque depicting a little girl in Bavarian dress carrying her market basket in a high relief near figural portrayal. Marked in print to back ‘Going to Market’ with no hallmarks or other identifiers. Back has been stained brown while front has a gloss finish with smooth finish and visible roughly hand painted details. Simple ring to back for hanging. Circa 1940s.

- needs a gentle cleaning, pencil marks to back.
