Apocryphal reign mark to the underside
Condition
- scratches and wear to carving on top of box; segments of cinnabar have cracked with age; a thin 1" piece of lacquered cinnabar is missing from lid near the top center edge; box is made with a brass frame which has dents and is bent in some spots; wear to lacquered cinnabar; oxidation to brass; abrasions and scratches to the underside of box; a small piece of cinnabar is missing in the border around the metal stamp on underside of box.
