- uneven, heavy wear, loss, and discoloration to pile from use and possible insect damage, with foundation weave and knot collars visible throughout; wear and loss to fringe and selvedges; loss of kilim skirt and outer guard border from one end and loss with fraying to oblique warp wrapping and kilim at the other end; fray into pile from three corners; loss of selvedge finish on both sides with loose yarns; variation to width and depth.
