This commemorative silver half dollar features an eagle superimposed over a lone star to the obverse and a winged liberty flanked by Sam Houston and Stephen Austin with the facade of the Alamo to the reverse. Designer: Pompeo Coppini. Mintage: 61,463. Metal content: 90% silver, 10% copper. Diameter: 30.6 mm. Weight: 12.5 grams. The coin appears uncirculated.
