- warping to canvas; abrasions and staining throughout the composition; cracking to outer margins of composition; tears to the verso; repairs to the lower left with canvas patches to the verso; in-painting and over-painting present throughout, especially to the lower margin; toning to varnish; some varnish dripping present; paper backing has been taken off in order to inspect the verso of the painting.
