Pittsburgh native, Louise is best known for her paintings depicting Pittsburgh bridges, construction sites, and beach scenes. Louise studied sculpture at Carnegie Institute of Technology. After graduating in 1936, she traveled to London and studied under Henry Moore (1898 – 1986). Parallel to her art studies, she worked as a runway model during the mid-century. She held a studio in Squirrel Hill and exhibited often with the Society of Sculptors. She was a member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh.
