Pittsburgh painter, Bill Brunken receives a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Slippery Rock University. Later he achieved a Master of Arts and Master of Fine Arts from Stephen F. Austin State University, in Texas. After living in Portland, Oregon for a time, Brunken returned to Pittsburgh and is a visiting professor at Allegheny College in Meadville.
