• This wonderful painting depicts whimsical fantasy clown riding an unusual mammal, a tapir. It is signed by listed artist, Trino Sanchez (1968- Venezuela), and is entitled, "La Danta" or "The Tapir", and it is framed in a simple mahogany frame stained with a red, medium fnish. Certificate from Gallery in Venezuela is present. Sanchez was educated in drawing, painting and sculpture in the 1980’s at the Maria Machado De Guevara School in Venezuela and attended the Federico Brandt Art Institute in Caracas. He has exhibited in several one man and group shows and has won several South American Art Awards.
