Indian Head Cent Coins, 1883–1909. This lot of sixty-one coins consists of Indian Head cents from 1883, 1895 (2), 1902, 1903, 1906 (20), 1907 (26), 1908 (7) and 1909 (3). These coins have a left-facing Liberty in plains style Native American headdress to the obverse and ‘ONE CENT’ with shield in a wreath of laurels to the reverse. Designer: James B. Longacre. Metal Content: 95% copper, 5% tin and zinc. Diameter: 19 mm. Weight: approx. 3.11 grams (each). Coins are circulated; wear and oxidation varies across the lot.
