Based in Ohio, artist Will Rannells was known for his paintings of dogs, which he began paintingin 1916. He was a Professor of Commercial Art at Ohio State University and illustrated several children’s books. His work was also featured in a dog calendar produced annually for forty years.

- minor scratches, stains, and finish loss scattered throughout frame; minor toning to paper.
