Includes a hand written letter on a card, signed by Cole and a dated invoice from the Cole Carothers Studio.
Cole Carothers was born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1949, and graduated from Colorado College in 1971 before earning an M.F.A. from American University in 1978. He went on to teach at St. Andrew’s School in Delaware, the Art Academy of Cincinnati, and the College of DAAP, University of Cincinnati, finally serving as program director for the Baker Hunt Arts and Cultural Center in Covington, KY. Carothers’ work has been widely exhibited in galleries and museums across the midwest, and resides numerous corporate and public collections including the Cincinnati Art Museum, University of Kentucky Art Museum, Lakeland College, Cincinnati Bell Telephone, Cincinnati Financial Corporation and the University of Cincinnati.
