Better Date 1883-CC GSA Morgan Silver Dollars. This Morgan silver dollar was encapsulated and made available to the public in 1972 by the General Services Administration as part of the upcoming Bicentennial celebration. This coin features a left facing Liberty to the obverse and perched raised winged eagle clutching arrows and olive branches to the reverse. Designer: George T. Morgan. Mintage: 1,204,000, Metal Content: 90% silver, 10% copper. Diameter: 38.1mm. Weight: 26.73 grams. Coin is encapsulated, uncirculated and presented in the original boxes.
