A fabulous, framed offset lithograph titled Redsland Forever by C.F. Payne that presents some of the most favored Cincinnati Reds players throughout the team’s history. The artist, Chris Fox Payne is a well-loved Cincinnati caricaturist and illustrator. His illustrations have been found on the covers of Sports Illustrated, Time Magazine, Rolling Stone, Mad Magazine, National Geographic and many more. This artwork on the Reds features fourteen players: Harry Wright, Barry Larkin, Johnny Vander Meer, Eric Davis, Chris Sabo, Ernie Lombardi, Paul Derringer, Ewell Blackwell, Joe Morgan, Sparky Anderson, Joe Nuxhall, Tony Perez, Johnny Bench and Ted Kluszewski. A printed note in which the artist shares his thoughts on this piece as well as a ledger to identify the players is included. Signed and numbered 221/500 in pencil by the artist. Professionally framed under glass with white matting in a black frame.
