Mercury Silver Dimes in Whitman Album, Including Key Dates and NGC Graded 1916-D. This lot of seventy-seven Mercury silver dimes spans the years 1916 to 1945 and includes the key dates of 1916-D, 1921, 1921-D and 1926-S. The 1916-D coin has been graded as Fair 2 by NGC and is encapsulated. The coins feature a left facing winged Mercury to the obverse and Roman fasces to the reverse. Designer: Adolph A. Weinman. Metal Content: 90% silver, 10% copper. Diameter: 17.9mm. Weight: 2.5 grams(each). The coins have been circulated and wear varies across the lot.
