‘End of the Silver Era’ Stamps and U.S. Mint Sets with Informational Portfolio. This lot consists of a portfolio from PCS Stamps and Coins and features a 1964 uncirculated coin set (Philadelphia Mint); 1964 Proof Set (Philadelphia Mint); and 1964 uncirculated coin set (Denver Mint). The coin sets are encapsulated and the portfolio has informational panels on the coins, the Mints, the decision to move away from silver and the historic events of 1964. The sets include a Lincoln cent, Jefferson nickel, Roosevelt dime, Washington quarter and Kennedy half dollar with the dime, quarter and half dollar being 90% silver, 10% copper. Coins are uncirculated and encapsulated.
