Lincoln Head Cent Collection in Whitman Coin Book, 1941–1983. This lot of ninety Lincoln one-cent coins include the 1943 steel cent, as well as the last year for the wheat cent and first year for the memorial cent. The coins feature a right-facing Abraham Lincoln to the obverse and ‘ONE CENT’ between stalks of wheat on the reverse up to 1958 and the Lincoln Memorial after 1958. The lot also includes a 1917 cent. The coins are housed in a Whitman coin book and have been circulated with condition varying across the lot. Designer: Victor D. Brenner. Metal Content: 95% Copper, 5% Tin and Zinc. Diameter: 19mm. Weight: Approximately 3.11 grams (each).
