Lucien Neuquelman first studied at Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Toulon before moving to Paris to study under the guidance of fauvist artist Othon Friesz (French, 1879 – 1949). There, he learned how to incorporate fauvist color techniques and transferred the skill for his pointillist paintings. In 1930, Neuquelman mastered the neo-impressionist style and is now a popularly collected artist. His works have been sold on many platforms including Christie’s and are collected in private and public institutions around the world.
