18th Century One-of-a-Kind Mantle Clock by Leble London Clockmaker
Item Details
A stunning antique one-of-a-kind mantle clock that looks to be custom made from a circa 1760s pocket watch. The clock features a removable pocket watch style clock with ribbed stem resting between two brass fish with spade shaped tails. The clock features an enamel face with Roman numerals. Hand-engraved ‘Leble London’ to inside clock works. The clock is housed in a mantle case comprised of a rectangular structure with four antiqued brass columns which support beveled crystal. Attached to top with brass finials and a brass bald eagle proudly centered on top. Its case has a brass framed crystal door for access to the interior. Its base has a rectangular shape with rounded corners, decorative trim and four bun feet.
