- discoloration throughout needlework, with uneven color fade and stains to velvet border, with color preserved at corners and deeper into velvet pile; debris and residue across surface of needlework, with larger debris embedded in velvet pile including wood splinters and insect detritus; flattened velvet pile, with some voids and other wear to velvet; residue on glazing; chips and abrasions to frame; separation to frame corner joins.
