- discoloration to painting varnish; restoration work includes inpainting and overpainting throughout, relined canvas, and patch repairs to canvas on verso; craquelure to paint with flaked paint loss; loose tension to canvas, with corner draw and sag; stretcher marks to canvas; abrasions, scratches, and wear to frame; discoloration to canvas and stretcher versos; canvas is ill-fitting in frame and shifts easily, with upper edge visible within sight.
