Kentucky folk artist Edd Lambdin began his art career in the mid-1980s. His colorful, stylized painted sculptures are inspired by his rural Southern upbringing, with themes including monkeys, birds, snakes and religious motifs. His work has been exhibited at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, the Huntington Museum of Art, the Kentucky Folk Art Center and the Owensboro Museum of Art.
