The painting is expressive with the paint being applied impasto creating a rich texture. Gayle Hummel is a native of Terrace Park in Cincinnati, Ohio who studied fine art at both Miami University and The University of Cincinnati. Her work is to be found in many galleries and private collections worldwide. Her work was also chosen by the Late Princess Diana to be hung in a Children’s hospital in England. This painting is signed by the artist in the lower right and presented in a green frame.
