Whitman Binders of Mercury Dimes and Lincoln Cents. The Mercury dime binder contains a total of 72 Mercury silver dimes and the Lincoln cent binder contains a total of 63 coins ranging from 1909 to 1940. Dimes are composed of 90% silver, 10% copper. Cents are composed of 95% copper, 5% tin and zinc. Each dime weighs approx. 2.5 grams (each). Coins are circulated and conditions vary. Each binder measures 7′ × 9′ × 1/2’.
