Condition

- artwork shows signs under black light of having had in-painting and possible holes in canvas repaired, most visibly within the lower quadrants of the painting; significant scuffing, craquelure, spots of flaking, and minor discoloration to paint; artwork appears to have had its gold-tone composite foliate pattern accents split and break at the upper region of the frame, and this has since been re-attached with an adhesive; significant cracking, chipping, flaking, and loss to gold-toned gesso and composite layers of frame; visible abrasions, scratching, scuffing, discoloration, and accretions to frame.
