Seventeen $5 Legal Tender Notes and Silver Certificate Banknotes. This lot consists of eight red seal $5 bank notes featuring red serial numbers and seal from 1928, 1953 and 1963 and nine $5 silver certificate banknotes with blue serial numbers and seal from 1934 and 1953. All the notes feature a right facing Abraham Lincoln to the obverse and Lincoln Memorial to the reverse. The notes have all been circulated with various degrees of wear and measure 6 1/8′ × 2 5/8’ each.
