- large holes and tears present in rug, some of which have been sewn back together, most visible where the central field meets the border patter at one side of the rug; significant brownish and yellow staining to pile throughout the pattern of the rug, possibly including animal residue; visible discoloration, fraying, uneven wearing down, and threadbareness to pile; curling to edges under rug; significant fraying, gaps, unevenness, threadbareness, and discoloration to fringe; minor variation in width and depth.
