Seated Liberty Silver Half Dollar and Quarters. This lot consists of an 1857-O Seated Liberty silver half dollar and an 1853 “arrows and rays” and 1876 Seated Liberty silver quarter. All three coins feature a seated Liberty looking back over her shoulder ringed by thirteen stars to the obverse and raised wing eagle clutching arrows and olive branches to the reverse. Designer: Christian Gobrecht. Mintage: Content: 90% silver, 10% copper. Diameter: 30.61 mm(half dollar). Weight: approx. 13.36 grams(half dollar). All coins have been circulated with moderate to heavy wear.
