Vintage hand painted Italian ‘Deruta’ pottery appetizer plates with one larger crescent shaped plate. The set of four appetizer plates are painted to illustrate a winged dragon in the center, two slightly larger plates enjoy the same type of pattern as does the crescent shaped plate. All are done in the cheerful yellow, blue and green palette that Italian pottery is known for and all are hand written ‘Deruta Italy’ on the bottom. Also included are cream and Yellow footed mugs and a darling fish terrine that is marked to be made in Italy.
Condition
, one tiny chip at an edge of one plate, one mug is chipped and the fish terrine has a chipped whisker.
Dimensions
, the slightly larger plates are 5.75" in diameter. The mugs are 6.5" high and the fish is 8" high x 13" long.
