Roland Huston was revered as both an academician and painter. He was a teacher from 1987 until 2005 and also famously studied under Paul Chidlaw at the Cincinnati Art Academy. The artist’s relationship with his teacher continued far beyond their years at the Art Academy, however. He passed away in 2005 at the age of 69 and is remembered by many as a beloved teacher, artist and friend.

Condition

- minor scratches and marks to frame; flaked paint loss in two spots near left edge of composition.
