Flying Eagle and Indian Head Cents in Whitman Binder. This lot of twenty six includes an 1857 flying eagle cent and twenty five Indian Head cents between the years of 1859 and 1908, though not all dates are represented. The coins feature a left facing Liberty in Native American headdress to the obverse and ‘ONE CENT’ in a wreath of laurels below a shield to the reverse. Designer: James B. Longacre. Metal Content: 95% copper, 5% tin and zinc. Diameter: 19 mm. Weight: approx. 3.11 grams (each). Coins are lightly to moderately circulated, wear varies across the lot.
