Texan native, Hanna is an established regional painter, best known for his rustic country landscapes. He received a degree in Advertising Art and Design from Texas Tech University and had a successful 20-year career as an illustrator in New York. Many of his illustrations were featured in Automotive Quarterly, Town & Country, and Popular Science. Hanna also worked on campaigns for Volkswagen, Coors Beer, Byron Nelson Golf Classic, and Chili’s Bar & Grill. After his time in New York, Hanna returned to Texas and entered a mature style of painting impressionistic landscapes, portraits and still lifes. His works depict dramatic light and rich use of color. He continues to exhibit regionally.
