62 Indian Head Cents, 1865-1909. This lot consists of sixty two Indian Head cents from 1865 to 1909, though not all dates are represented. The coins feature a left facing Liberty in Native American headdress to the obverse and ‘ONE CENT’ in a wreath of laurels below a shield to the reverse. Designer: James B. Longacre. Metal Content: 95% copper, 5% tin and zinc. Diameter: 19 mm. Weight: approx. 3.11 grams (each). Coins are lightly to moderately circulated, wear varies across the lot.
