Commemorative Liberty and San Francisco Mint Silver Dollars and 1970-D Half Dollar. This lot contains a 1986 Liberty silver dollar and clad half dollar featuring the Statue of Liberty to the obverse and Emma Lazarus’s famous poetry lines to the reverse and a 2006 San Francisco Mint silver dollar with the mint building on the obverse and raised wing eagle with shield clutching arrows and olive branches to the reverse. Also included is a Key Date 1970-D ‘Last of an Era’ 40% silver Kennedy half dollar in commemorative packaging from First Commemorative Mint. Only the 1970-D was struck with silver that year subsequent years saw the use of only cupro-clad coins in circulation. All the coins are uncirculated and encapsulated, wear to the box edges and packaging.
