An exquisite set of vintage Chinese carved ivory Foo lions with stained wood stands. From the tight curls of the Foo manes, right down to the tiny details of the teeth, these temple guardians have a fierce and traditional look. Stands constructed of dark wood and stained with a matched indentation that allows the ivory to sit nicely on its display. No visible maker’s marks found, signs of age indicates an approximate date of 1960.
