As a student of Hans Hoffman at his School of Fine Art, Querido was an accomplished Abstract Expressionism artist. She became a teacher at the Riverdale Fine Arts Society and a broadcaster for the Voice of America. Her work can be found in the permanent collections of Miami Museum of Modern Art and Metropolitan Museum of Art.
