- slight discoloration and varied gloss to varnish layers; flaked paint loss at center throughout the smaller balanced stone and into the larger forward hill; other scratches and surface wear; edgewear to canvas with black float edge tape peeling in places; dust accumulation in float frame gap and to frame surface; edgewear to frame; stains to canvas verso; frame corner joints are loose and piece twists easily when unsupported.
