This coin features a left facing Liberty ringed by thirteen stars to the obverse and ‘ONE DOLLAR 1852’ in a wreath of laurels to the reverse. Designer: Christian Gobrecht. Mintage: 6,360. Metal content: 90% Gold, 10% copper. Diameter: 12.7 mm. Weight: approximately 1.7 grams. The coin appears very light circulated, nick to the rim on the reverse.
